If you’re a teacher or youth leader working with students ages 7-12, give them a chance to step back int time with an unforgettable, hands-on experience of life in the 1800s.
Our engaging, guided tours take place in authentic historic buildings relocated from the Hilliard area and carefully preserved together in one unique setting. Students don’t just learn about history-they experience it! As they also explore our museum, they will discover what life was like long ago through immersive storytelling and up-close encounters with the past.

Volunteering
Volunteering is a powerful way to connect with others, learn new skills, grow professionally and boost your overall well-being. It’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while enriching your own life.
We would be honored to have you join our nonprofit organization and become a part of a community dedicated to preserving history and serving others. Your time and talents can truly make an impact.
Volunteer opportunities are available for families, groups and individuals of all ages! To help you feel confident and prepared, we offer orientation and training sessions in April, July and September. Join us, learn the ropes, help make a difference and become part of a dedicated team in preserving history.
We proudly offer offer meaningful service opportunities for middle and high school students seeking community service or honors hours. Opportunities are available year-round, making it easy to get involved, give back and make a difference in our community.
Historical Society’s Archival Library, Office & Artifacts Center
Help us preserve the stories of Hilliard! Whether you are conducting family research or wish to donate a cherished piece of local history, our team is available to assist you.
