History in a Suitcase Brought To You

What is your History in a Suitcase Program?

“History in a Suitcase” is a program where we come to you! Period dressed docents will come to your school or other organization and share the history of Hilliard and various historical artifacts.

Our presentation consists of a brief history of how and why Hilliard was settled with the emphasis on life in the 1800s. As we show our artifacts, we explain what it was like to grow up in a log cabin, attend a one-room schoolhouse and the importance of making a living raising crops and livestock in Ohio, especially the Hilliard area.

This program can also serve as a great introduction before a more in-depth visit to the Hilliard Historical Village & Museum. Please complete the form below to set up a program for your organization or school.

A minimum fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be requested for (10) or more persons. If interested, complete the application below.
