Host a Wedding in the Chapel

The Colwell Church is available for weddings and other services April 1 through November 30.  The pews in the church can seat 110 guests.  There is a fee to use the Church and the Gazebo.  For weddings the fee includes the wedding rehearsal (1  1/2 hours), and during the wedding day the dressing room 1  1/2 hours prior to the ceremony, and 1  1/2 hours after the ceremony.  Restrooms are available for the wedding guests and wedding party.  A non-refundable deposit is due at the signing of the contract and the balance of the fees are due 2 weeks prior to the wedding.  Tours of the historical buildings are available at an additional fee.

1. Church rental shall be four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00) and shall include:
a. Cleaning of the restrooms in the Museum.
b. Use of the aisle cloth.
c. Rehearsal time 1.5 hours prior to the wedding.
d. Photo and miscellaneous use for 1.5 hours after the wedding.

2. A one hundred dollar ($100.00) nonrefundable deposit fee is required to hold the church for the requested date and time.

3. A two hundred fifty five dollar ($250.00) charge shall be made for the use of the gazebo for the weddings in the Weaver Historical Park.  A one hundred dollar ($100.00) nonrefundable deposit fee is required to hold the gazebo for the requested date and time.

4. The same fee as stated in Item three (3) shall apply to weddings in the pavilion in the SBC Bicentennial Park located at 5274 Norwich Street.
